Thisquietarmy, the dynamic sonic project curated by Eric Quach, orbits the realm of improvised guitar-based drone, crafting expansive and immersive soundscapes through electronic experimentation. Since its inception in 2005, the project has unleashed a prolific output, with over 50 releases on more than 30 esteemed labels including Consouling Sounds, Midira, Denovali, Aurora Borealis, Shelter Press, three:four, Alien8, Utech and P572.

Quach’s live presence has been felt across the globe, with 800 performances in 40 countries, gracing renowned festivals like Mutek, FIMAV, Red Bull Music Academy, Biennale Némo, Le Guess Who, Incubate, Ambientalny, Zemlika, Dunk! Festival, Moving Noises, Into The Void, Amplifest, and Suoni Per Il Popolo.

In addition to his solo pursuits, Thisquietarmy has seamlessly collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including luminaries like Aidan Baker (Nadja), Michel ‘Away’ Langevin (Voivod), Scott Cortez (loveliescrushing), Aidan Girt (Godspeed You! Black Emperor), André Foisy (Locrian), Hellenica, Philippe Leonard (GY!BE, Double Negative Collective), Monarch, Noveller (Iggy Pop), Syndrome (Amenra), Year of No Light, and Yellow6.
